Was that a bad night or what.
There are still New Yorkers alive. Drink more.

wootwoot.

So was wondering about everyone's opinions.

Bring the comparatively huge Canon XL2 or a smaller Sony which I conviently forgot the model of to record our periliss journey into the world of fine foods, sweets, and drinks?

At this point I can get either, but I'm not sure whether I should get big and awesome vs. mobility and in interruption.

Late to the game, but since I'm pretty much required to be at AWA, I'll plan on being at the dinner as well.

As much as I'd love to behold your XL2, I gotta say, lugging it around AND trying to have fun = the lose. However, you could get amazing footage with it if that's all you were concentrating on. I brought my crappy TRV280 to acen, and the footage STILL came out bad cause it was a new cam and I was not too familiar with it...I "point and shot" too much, handling like my old 130 :/

So...bring the XL2 so me and trythil can play with it :O

In my opinion the Sony's better, but I wanna play with the XL2 too xD

... Really, all it's going to be for is just home video-ish type stuff for AWA AMVers.

Last year I tried to have a theme, y'know, meet all the AMV editors or whatever. It was fun and gave me a "quest" so to speak, but I also annoyed a lot of people. So to hell with that, this year! I'll just bumble about and the camera will be my eyes.

The problem I had years prior to this is that my personal camera isn't even 3 chip, so anything remotely dark you couldn't see, and I had to brighten up later when I edited it together. =(

Hopefully this'll get rid of that. Which is why I keep saying "quality" this and that.

I (and VegettoEX in tow) will be there. My vote goes to Cheesecake Factory! Never ever been to one, and looking forward to trying something new. :)

The food is pretty much the best you can get without us renting a van and driving to Buckhead. Besides, I think Emeril would BAM us right out of his restaurant.

The mall is totally revamped, lots of new places to loiter. The food court is out! Like yesterday's forum
