There are irritating individuals who are generally unliked and unwanted, but who follow along anyway and generally make fools of themselves.
Face it, not everyone has to like everyone else, and there are some people who are such annoying idiots that nobody wants them around until they mature.
I understand that not everone has to like everyone else. However, I think that maybe just a simple introduction of everyone would help everyone enjoy the gathering much more.
I went to last year's little dinner thing, though I was pretty lost, it was dark and I had to leave before we could even order the real food

, and I didn't really get to meet anyone, I just kinda "followed along". Personally it seemed to feel a bit awkward because it looked like certain people know others and vice versa. Maybe just a short little introduction dealie could help ease any possible tension or irritation before the whole dinner deal.
I wanna go this year, but I don't want to go on the premise that its going to be on that same awkward note as before, nor do I think anyone who may be considered "irritating" would like to be left out as well. Maybe its just wishful thinking that a group of relative strangers could somehow all feel comfortable with each other because of a common interest.
Meh, only time will tell I guess.
