Anime Expo 2013 - Meet & Greet DINNER 7/3 @ 7pm

Okie dokie fokies, after letting enough time spew in my mind i've come to a sensible decision to not do a Meet & Greet "Panel" again this year - mostly do to the fact that Vlad and Troy are introducing the AMV room which will more than likely cover any mingling and video playing we would want to squeeze into the convention i personally don't mind at all, it's less work for me and still gets the job done.

HOWEVER, the dinner of course is still on cuz everyone just wuvs it

So we need to decide where to have it, so lets try a poll - but first i'm gonna place pros and cons of our potential locations:

Honda-Ya (2012 M&G)
Pros:
Great food.
Tatami mats made people get up and mingle.

Cons:
Tatami mats were too hard on most people, hence the mingling.
Hosts were not happy about splitting checks.
No TV.

Oiwake (2008-2011)
Pros:
Gracious hosts.
Lots of space.
Possible TV hookup.
Cheaper parking garage.

Cons:
Food is average.


I'd like to see votes on which place you'd rather go - or if you have another suggestion.

Haven't been to Oiwake, but if food is the only issue then there's no problem (only ended up eating, what, half an appetizer at Honda? And that wasn't due to lack of appetite). Although I'd imagine after 4 years that some of you are Oiwake'd out. So my vote goes to unspecified third location.

Oh, and I'll probably maybe most definately be there. The subsequent thrill ride back to the Westin last year was worth it alone.

Alright, Stryyder and I will be going to Little Tokyo this saturday to scope out and reserve our restaurant. I've listened to the few responses/preferences from everyone (most i assume don't really care about the details as long as they get to spend time with everyone), and i will reveal the final location sometime late saturday or early sunday.
