Wow...I'm surprised no one has mentioned AFO yet.

Lots of fun stuff going on there. They have a list of contests and guests on their site. I'll definately be entering the AMV contest and maybe some other stuff^^. And of course they have cosplay.

I've been to AFO5 and 6 too. It's about the biggest event all year for me.

ok... I checked the site out, and I wanna put in an AMV for this convention... but that's where the problem is. Where the heck do I go to get the the information they need to show my AMV? What format do they want the AMV in? How long do they want the AMv to last? What catagories are they looking for, and what aren't they looking for?

This has to be the worst laid out site I've ever seen for a convention. How can they expect to have an AMV contest and lay down a deadline w/ out telling people what they want, and where they want us to put it.

iono but someone posted the rules here

seems like they're the rules from last year(since it says due date July 8, 2005.... but I guess all these apply for this year too

I remembered there was a word document with the rules from last year, but I couldn't find it. I tried emailing them about it this year, but they never gave ME a response, lol.
Meh...I always thought their site was kind of lacking, but the con itself still rocks.

the 8th? The website says the 1st, but that word document says the 8th and 15th for the ftp... wtf is goin on here? The way this is going if by some miracle of God I get a submission into the contest and it wins, it probably won't mean much to me since they'll probably decide the winner using the same logic they used when giving us the rules.
