I'll be nice since I live in Michigan also (Newaygo County), and know how much it sucks that all the Cons are else where. (That and I'm bored as hell.) The cons that I track are in Michigan and I also like to keep tabs on the ones in, at least, Ohio since it's a close, popular Con state.

- Ohayocon: It already happened, weekend of Jan. 6. I think it's in Ohio, just incase you might want to go next year.

- ConFusion: This already happened too, but it was this weekend. (Damn i missed it too!) It's held in Troy, Mich.

- X-trava Con: This is basically a comic con held about 9 times a year (once a month till August, I think) on a Sunday in Livonia, Mich. / Jan. 29th, Feb. 19th, March 26th, and so forth. More info on this at the Motor City Comic Con's website.

- Marmalde Dog [11]: \\jumps for joy// This ones' held at Western Michigan University (WMU) in Berhard Hall on March 24th-26th.

- Paicon: Also held on March 24th-26th in West Lake Ohio.

- AmberCon: Held in Detroit, Mich. on March 30th.

- Anime Punch: Columbus, Ohio March 30th-April 1st. \\I've grown lazy...//

- Animarathon: Bowling Green, Ohio @ the University. From what it seems it's like a sit in for anime watching, and bunches of other great things. April 8th, 10am-midnight.

- Matsuricon: Worthington, Ohio on April 20th-23rd

- Pengiucon: Novi, Mich. on April 21stth-23rd

- Harucon: Elria, Ohio on April 30th

- Motor City Comic Con: Novi, Mich. on May 19th-21st

- MediaWest Con [26]: Lansing, Mich. on May 26th-28th

- ColossalCon: Indepedence, Ohio sometime in June

- JAFAX: Probably the most adverised Con in Michigan because I hear of it all over the place though it is still not too big. @ GVSU (Grand Valley State University) on June 26th-27th

- Ikasucon: Cincinnati, Ohio on July 14th-16th

- ConVersion: Novi, Mich. on July 28th-29th (maybe the 30th also)

- AmeriCon: Columbus, Ohio on August 18th-19th

Eh, that's all I have written down for now, so don't stop searching, you might find something good.

Ok, JAFAX I've heard of. My older sister almost got to go last year but she decided to be stupid about it. Also, does anyone know any good cosplay tutorial site for my JAFAX trip this year. (Yes I'm a guy who wants to make his own costume. I'm going as either Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy 7 or as Shugo/Kite from .Hack//Legend of the Twilight, whichever is 1. cooler and 2. easier to make if that helps anyone)

Youmacon is sometime around November in Troy and I'm going. Except this year I will make sure to not have been up for 36 hours before trying to drive home.

Yeah.. That's bad... Although your drive home from Novi is short... Mine would be about 2 hours or so.
