whos been to kawaii kon(cute convention)u buy things there and admission is not cheap....why cant dey just like make admittssion 5 bucks an leave it @ that!

Do you know how much it costs to run a con? To lease the hotel space, to pay for guests, to pay for video equipment, to pay for everything else, and <i>especially</i> to fly staffers out since I bet a lot of them aren't on the island? Especially for a first year (well, now, second year) convention? $35 for pre-registration isn't even that expensive compared to a lot of larger cons in the US!
Please think before you make statements like "I wish all anime cons were ridiculously cheap!" You not having money != the convention being expensive.
