Anime Expo Staff Recruitment Event

Anime Expo is having an open house event for people interested in being staffers.

Open House / Job Fair
In an effort to help AX2005 departments with open staff positions, we're hosting an "Open House / Job Fair". If you know anyone - friends, neighbors, family, anime club members - who is interested but is still uncertain about being a staffer, this event would be a great opportunity to have them come in, get their questions answered and submit their application.

A representative from every AX department will be on hand to field questions and conduct interviews. We're looking to recruit staff at this event! Refreshments will be served. Dress casual!

Anime Expo 2005 Open House / Job Fair
Location: Redwood City Public Library (Main Library)
Room: Large Conference Room at the top floor of the library
Date: Saturday, April 23, 2005
Time: 1PM to 4PM

The meeting space is provided as a community service by the City of Redwood City. The City neither sponsors or endorses this event nor the presenting individual or organizations.

On a somewhat related note, does anyone have any info about the Anime Expo 2005 AMV contest? Any?
Because I can't find any on their website, and the <i>Otakon</i> deadline's only a month and some-odd away...

We've been discussing it in another thread, evidently the rule changes are virtually nill and the deadline will be the typical May deadline. My guess is and has been taht AX figures so long as the rules don't change we just figure the same rules as always and edit away so they can afford to put them up late.
