UK-anime conventions

i know there arte a number of anime conventions coming up. not many of my friends like anime...actually none of them do.

who is going to go to certain conventions in the UK?
i would love to ask about them as i have never been before also i'm looking for people me and my non anime liking friend could meet up with.
