Anime Boston 2026: "The AMVs That Made Us" Participation

I’m honored to be a part of Anime Boston this year! I have several awesome events planned for you guys. But one in particular involves some extra audience participation!

I’ll be hosting the panel “The AMVs That Made Us” where I and other AMV creators tell the story and show the first AMV that they saw, the AMV that convinced them to become an editor, or the AMV that had an early influence on their AMV editing journey. So awesome. We're in Canada, but I specifically recall my first influencial AMV being Sailor Mercury to Eiffel Tower's I'm Blue in 2001, by Aluminum Studios! This was the one where I realized AMVs were more art than a mash up of scenes to music.
