Unfortunately the matches today were a little too close. We're gonna have to wait until tomorrow.

I'm mostly not commenting on the matches, but damn Atari. You turned what sounds like an incredible bad song/anime combo into something that fit astoundingly well. I was impressed with how well you made it work, even for just half a minute.Brad wrote:Match 43: NME vs. LittleAtari

Agreed. As fun and fitting as NME's video was (I genuinely do really like it), I was highly impressed by Noor's ingenuity. Granted, it was a simple enough concept. But I was really worried when she got her source, knowing the song. I was assuming it was just gonna be a fairly generic FF7:AC video that happened to be set to a classic MJ song. The fact that she figured out how to make a funny (albeit, insanely creepy) conceptual video out of it really surprised me. So bravo!godix wrote:I'm mostly not commenting on the matches, but damn Atari. You turned what sounds like an incredible bad song/anime combo into something that fit astoundingly well. Indeed, I found it hilarious and really awesome. As awesome as it was, NME's was significantly longer and also had some pretty awesome parts as well. In a way, I saw the shortness as a bit of a failure on Atari's part, because a point of an Iron Chef is to try to do something cool given the time constraints. I think he focused too much on that little part, and got beaten by the clock. It's like taking a test and spending all of your time trying to answer the first question.godix wrote:I'm mostly not commenting on the matches, but damn Atari. Note for future IC's where Alan is a judge: Edit to the whole song.Zarxrax wrote: Indeed, I found it hilarious and really awesome. Thanks for the feedback guys. I was really freaking out when I got the song D= Ultimately, I knew the length (or lack of it) would end up hurting me, but I'm happy with the result. For anyone that wants a download of my video, it's now listed and announced:
