Vote Sugar Voodoo, the only vid on the list that's actually a first video

In Eleo's case, you can't compare "La tete dans un nuage" to Dreamer
OK, Dreamer isn't a first video in the first sense but let's say, she and every people knowing her consider Dreamer as her real first vid since it's the one where she put all efforts an editor can put into his AMV whereas the one you linked is just some shitty FF vid by a fangirl (what she still is hmmmm...). You can't understand French : The few comments she received on it are quite harsh! This is also why she didn't upload this one on org, like many people, she just wants to up the vids she considerers interesting.
Well, I think I'm biased but what I say it's the reality : o

Re: The First Impact Award (Best First Video)
By that logic, I could say that I hadn't put all of my possible effort into editing until my most recent video. That would mean I'll be eligible for Best First Video when next year's VCAs roll around, right?MimS wrote:In Eleo's case, you can't compare "La tete dans un nuage" to Dreamer

That wouldn't be a "difference" so much as a "technicality."MimS wrote:The difference is you uploaded your vids, she didn't XD
EDIT - the way the rules are, you're actually supposed to point this out ahead of time (like in the semis) so those names can be taken down as illegible - same way you deal with someone you find having a non-AMV uploaded to local or incorrect information on a video.

I already voted for Sugar Voodoo, without the knowledge that it's the only actual first video. \o/pink haze wrote:Vote Sugar Voodoo, the only vid on the list that's actually a first video

Re: The First Impact Award (Best First Video)
Honestly, I pointed it out as soon as I noticed. I don't expect anything to come of it at this stage. I do plan to be more perceptive next year (one of those links is from Padreman's profile for goodness sake).BasharOfTheAges wrote:EDIT - the way the rules are, you're actually supposed to point this out ahead of time (like in the semis) so those names can be taken down as illegible - same way you deal with someone you find having a non-AMV uploaded to local or incorrect information on a video.

Oh, it's not your fault. You're actually doing a (rather thankless) service in pointing this stuff out. That should be encouraged.pink haze wrote:Honestly, I pointed it out as soon as I noticed. The "supposed to" part was my cynical doubt that it would actually be acted on this late in the game.
