You shouldn't nominate your own video Reggie, but damn if I don't second it.

Yeah, we got it from here, bro. You just keep pimping that awesomeness in the self-promotion thread ;)

This video did something different from most trailers: It made a trailer for the anime in question, and not for the trailer music it's being based on. And it's a damn good trailer for a damn good story.

I know nothing about this show, but after watching this, I feel like I just witnessed a greek tragedy. Damn.

This is neither about the song in question, or the anime in question, but two people in love who have reached a turning point in a relationship. It just so happens that this turning point is about buttsechks

This one works much better than it has any business doing. Just...watch.

WOO SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION. Also, this had a story or something.
In all seriousness, telling a story was the main goal of this one. Portraying BeBop in a different light is the entire purpose of this one, and if I had to pick a single category to enter, this would have been it. So I humbly present, for your consideration.
And lastly...

This one brought me to freakin' tears at Otakon. I mean...sweet jesus...most of the nominees told a story, this one weaved an entire region built around several hundred stories, without a single line of dialogue and mostly matte paintings with self-made animation. This is a video for editors. Just...watch.

May sound a tad biased because my little sister made this video. Still, it is VERY well done. She threw it together in a few months for a literature class she was taking with special permission from her teacher. The idea was to tell the story of Romeo and Juliet in a modern way, like "West Side STory" did. This video got her an A++ and a gift certificate for the extra hard work she did but it hasn't got very much attention on the site.

That said, I thought I would just point it out along with one little fact: she is only 15 years old guys. This is RAW TALENT! So, yeah. Call me biased if you will, but I encourage you to watch the video before naming me such.

Enjoy!
There is nothing like a moonless night to watch a few AMVs.
