Immediate Music had also done their share of damage to this video:

Re: The Org Redesign - What's wrong with the org?
What I feel this site needs is a lot more interaction between editors. There's almost like a simple routine for everyone on this site:
1.) Upload video
2.) Look at others videos
I think we need to emphasize giving each other opinions (yes I do realize there is a free op section however, not many people use it). Also, creating a section for beta testing would be good and it would really help a lot of editors improve their videos.
I don't think we need to focus on the "look" of the site, but rather on what makes it a community for AMV editors.

I really agree with this, a subforum dedicated to only betas where people can post a link to their beta in their own thread would be nice.Begi wrote:What I feel this site needs is a lot more interaction between editors. There's almost like a simple routine for everyone on this site:

Definitely agree with that one. Beta thread =

Then that guitar thingies popped up and went dun dun DUN dun then those box thingies went zooming by and twirling around and shit. Oh god, then the hexagons popped up and I was like 'I just got a stiffie'. Then there was the circle with those thingies going around and I blew my load.

It's called opinions forum, too bad no one really checks it. Nor understands its purpose aside from giving opinions on videos, it has a beta sticky FFS. noare also tons of threads saying "beta, check out/beta test/etc" but no one really checks those threads. Guess it needs to have BETA TEST SUB-FORUM spammed all over it or no one will even bother looking at it.

Those fucking guidelines and stickys don't help much at all. It doesn't promote interaction among editors. The chat room for betas is dead and the opinion subforum overall is dead. A beta test subforum would be much more beneficial than a couple of stickys. IMO, the amount of interaction that happens between editors on this site is declining. New AMV announcements sometimes go completely unreplied. Like I said, the org doesn't need a fucking facelift, it's fine the way it is.Enigma wrote:It's called opinions forum, too bad no one really checks it. I bet if someone actually came into the chatroom and asked for people to beta-test a video, they might actually find someone willing to do so.Begi wrote:Those fucking guidelines and stickys don't help much at all. I've tested this. Its rare. About two or three people look at it but in the end its still only a small margin of the whole org...unless ofc ur a famous editor or you promote by going OMG LOOK AT MY AMAZING VIDEO PLOX!!!!111 until someone finally clicks the link.
What I dont understand is how a giant site dedicated to watching amvs and helping people improve...doesnt watch the amvs posted unless they are slapped in their faces with the amv by the editor who made it. Are people just not motivated? Do they not care anymore?
