I don't play RO anymore, but here's what it is basically: A MMoRPG of made by a Korean game development team, with original character designs by Korean manga artist Lee Myung Jin, who also created the manga. Currently the manga is undergoing translation and can be gotten from here There's a strong Norse mythological influence in the RPG's backstory. Seems the community for it is still going strong. I just stopped playing after being unable to connect for a few months. It was plenty of addicting fun while it lasted though. If you would like to sign up for the game, you can do that here
