Who likes Yu Gi Oh GX?

Post by Tails_Prower_Fairy » Tue Mar 07, 2006 6:06 pm

I am asking this myself since I was surfing on Tokyo TV and I did release the Rating

1-Naruto
2-Bleach
3-Yu Gi Oh GX

This is getting me sick, I cant believe Yu Gi Oh GX has that rating, If you ask me about it...I just like 2 minutes of the first episode when Yugi appears and presents that card to the new Boy, after that, I dont like Yu Gi Oh GX (real sentence censured for myself for dont get banned  )

I think it's ok but for some reason the original yugioh had more substance. I would choose yugioh over GX.

Yeah, i agree with you there..

And it seems odd that Yuugiou GX would have such a rating.

Not me. Yu-Gi-Oh GX is long commercial for cards. The thing that makes me like the first one is the whole link to the past story.

I've never really those kind of shows where kids use x item to call x creatures to battle with x other kids (Pokemon, Yu Gi Oh, Beyblade, Digimon, ect.). But I do like the way some of the monsters look, if that counts for anything. I happen to see it every now and then because I have a nine year old brother.

I forgot to mention something. Have any of you read the original Yuugiou manga? It's ALOT different from the anime series. It is based around a BUNCH of different games, rather than just the cards (Seto Kaiba DID present Duel Monsters as a game, but Yami won and used his freaky powers on Kaiba..). Games like yoyos, ancient card games, tabletop rpgs (presented by Ryou Bakura), amusement parks (another presentation from Seto Kaiba), etc.

I like the manga better than the anime in this case, but in the case of the anime only, i like the first series better than the 2nd series.

One more thing to add, have any of you seen the Yuugiou movie? Well..it was produced solely in America unlike the rest of the series which was produced in Japan. That's why the cards look like the English release cards rather than the typical ones you usually see in the series...
