Memories
Has anyone seen Memories by Otomo? I love his work but I'm not sure if I want to invest in short stories. Any comments greatly appreciated.

Memories is definately worth getting just because of the first segment, Magnetic Rose. I personally didn't care for the second, but I seem to be the minority on that one. The third piece is interesting because there isn't a single scene change in the entire episode. It's one continuous, moving shot. Technical aspect aside, I don't think many people will care for the animation style, and the story is the most blatant rip-off of 1984 that I've ever seen. Magnetic Rose makes it more than worth the money though.
