My mind has officially been prison raped, and left with a demoralized sense of the morality of human nature. Anyone else like this movie as much as I did?
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

It's by far the best anime I've seen, next to Spirited Away anyway. Yeah, the movie really makes you think. It's not the easiest movie to interpret, as are all Momaru Oshii films, nor is it a movie for the faint of heart (the movie is about failure of the human spirit, and mankind's dwelve into darkness)

That ending scene you just mentioned is just...powerful. Powerful like a really hard punch to the gut. It's just something that is so full of emotion. The buildup, the actual act, the look on Fuse's face afterwards. It's just pulled off so well. It's a scene that really stuck with me well after watching the movie.
On the other hand, even though I liked the symbolism...How man freakin times do they have to push the red riding hood theme into our collective faces. I think we got it the first time around...didn't need the extra 72

Are you down with the sound of the Devil's town?
