That has nothing to do with your liking DragonballZ I think.
More like, with the questions you ask. Namely their pointlessness as far as discussion goes.
You do realize that, like your other threads, this one doesn't exactly have a good anime-related discussion point?

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

First, it's the net. Get used to nasty or sarcastic replies. As far as people hating on DBZ, most of them lie to themselves and go through denial and spout, "DBZ SUXXORS!!! YOU SUXXORS!!!"
It goes back to the whole Barney backlash thing. When kids would hear other kids say, "Barney is gay and any one who likes it is still a kid", they would turn their back on their favorite purple dinosaur.
That being said, alot of people just grow out of DBZ. I am still a fan of DBZ but only up until the end of the Freiza arc. The formula just became to stale to me afterwards. If you compared the greatness of DB to DBZ, DBZ lost alot of the technique and form that made DB great. Technique gave way to big booms and who could do better energy waves as to who was a better martial artist.
Well that's my opinion on it. In all honesty if you're looking for kind hearted responses and friendliness I suggest that the net is not for you. It's easier for a person to insult you from their computer so most people do. But every once in awhile you get a half way descent person who responds.

I don't think you are sad, just uninformed about other better anime.
I don't like Dragonball, but i don't dislike people that do, i can understand that it can have a certain appeal to people, it just doesn't appeal to me. I rather have more involving deeper anime with more story and more emotions, not an anime about people bashing each other up with superpowers and acting constipated for half an episode and drawing battles out for several episodes with a stupid anticlimax at the end. Not anime that run on forever and every battle just a rerun of the previous battle, but then with a different person and maybe a few new tricks.
So, no, i don't hate you, or think you are sad, i just think dragonball is.
