Berserk [tv ending spoilers]
i just finished watching Berserk and i have that is an AWSOME series , and gats has become one of my favorite characters . the only thing that i didnt like that much about the series , was the ending; personally i thought it was really crappy. anyways i have some questions about the ending that maybe some of u can answer , cause maybe some of u have read the manga.
What happens to caska? does she die after being rape by femot (grifith)?
and how in the hell does gats got out from those demons?
thanks in advance!

*warning HUGE spoilers*
ok it's a little hard to explain unless i tell you first that the series is much different than the manga. okie there is a character in the manga they desided to cut out of the series called skull knight, gats sees him a few times throughout the series but they con't make it a big deal until the eclipse part. cascka survives the rape but bears a child mixed from gats and griffith (as you know gats had some alone time with caska before the eclipse) but the baby is evil like the demons in the other dimention. anyway stuff happens......... ok after gats passes out due to the wounds he has, skull knight fights his way past zodd and into the dark relm, grabs gats and caskca and rides out. after that rickert gives them the fiary medicine, they fine, but here's the big thing that makes gats really go ape shit when griffith comes to mind. caskca's mind is shattered, she's mentally retarted from then on and doesn't even know who gats is. can't even speak. well i beleive ericka put it best "she doesn't talk to men anymore." anyway yeah. you need to read the manga, go look through the old topics in this forum i explained everything tht happend after the eclipse in an old thread, if you find it then it will clear alot up for you. i tell everybody that asks that question- the series is like a really long ad for the manga, get the manga you need to to understand all of whats going on.

well that makes more sense for the Dreamcast game, as caska is walking around like she lost her mind, and theres a fairy and a lil girl I think. Is there a english translation of the manga yet?
Sorry it got ruined for you whacker but didn't the title say tv ending spoilers? Or was that added later by a mod or something?

but i heard they are going to continue the series of berserk in japan since its been soooooooooooooooooo popular. To get the copyright of berserk it cost $500,000 and its a huge hit! I heard these rumors from http://www.animenewsservice.com/

There's been rumors for a few years now that berserk season 2 would be produced...none of them are ever, ever true unfortunatly. A huge problem is that Berserk really isn't too close to being finished yet. The storyline directly after the eclipse (The Lost Children Arc) isnt all that interesting, and doesn't have much character development. It's basically Guts hacking everything in his path to bits. They would also have to spend time explaining what exactly happened at the eclipse, how Guts and Caska were saved by Skullknight, how rickert survived the apostle attack etc, plus they would also have to make absolutly sure to tell the legend of gasairic, which they skipped over around episode 20. Without this, the world of Berserk isn't nearly as interesting or intriguing. All of these would definetly look great in anime form, but it would take so much time. It's just one of those things that really has no filler manga episodes. Every weird conversation and scene, are eventually important.
After all of which I just said, again there isn't any closure at all. If they animated that part of the series, they would have to animate the following part,(the rebirth arc) which is one of the most interesting and dynamic parts of the series so far, and would basically need a season or more of its own to be told right. It's just so long and so thick with development, story, insights...its quite awesome.
If anyone is seriously interested in this series, check out the FAQ on skullknight.net
Also check around the other parts of the site...it has just about every teensy little fact about Berserk, plus tons of great speculation for the future of the series. The BBS is pretty bomb too, since there are constant updates on the manga issues as they come out in japan.
While I personally would love to see more berserk anime, I'd be disapointed and pissed if it was rushed and done poorly. It would need around 2 + seasons just to catch up to the manga, and who knows how much more after that.
Can you tell how much I love this series?
