Are anime mags worth it?

Was looking at an issue of Animerica today and saw all the articles and ads and all that.

Maybe it was a bad issue but I wasn't impressed....it was October 2002.

So..for any people who subscribe to it, do you think getting a subscription is worth it?

Iv been buying for years from animerica...there the best american anime mag out there...

They probably are the best Anime mag in Amercia.... wait... aren't they the only one?

Newtype of Japan is or has come out with an English-language version of that anime magazine. Maybe you could look into getting that, if it's even half as good as the Japanese version.
