I sure some of you know, which is great since I'm looking for the anwcer! how did anime really get started out? I think and almost know that this is wrong, but I heard the Diseny really was the first productions to get it going. It would really be nice if someone could tell me and the rest of the foarm about it, and then talk about it!

I think you're pretty much right on that one got2maskit, but I believe the first commercially recognized manga/animé was started by Osamu Tezuka a little after WWII. The whole with disney is that Tezuka adopted that style for his works. I'm not a 100% sure on this however...

Depends First or First Recognizable
The First Anime TV Series:
Instant History (1961)
The First TV Broadcast of an Anime:
Three Tales (1960)
Out of the three tales The Third Blood was the first shown.
The others were Oppel and the Elephant, and Sleepy Town.
The Huge Eyes:
Walt Disney?!
Yep, Osamu Tezuka (Astro Boy) was inspired by Walt Disney.
Astro Boy then inspired a great many future anime creators.
Funny how things go full circle. Now America cartoonists are learning techniques from anime.

missed the link
Sorry didn't see the link before.
Even still note its says the Astro Boy was the first widely popular anime not the first anime.
Its just that most anime based its style of Astro Boys and few other early shows like Lupin III and the first Gundam.

Just a....test ?
Just registered, looking for some good music videos. I had an extreme collection off of napster, morpheus, limewire, kazaa and the like..sort of lost it all through some pathetic means. Never seen a forum without a section for useless dossile posts, (testing!) and cirtainly hope I have not pestered some folks by knocking-up this thread.(pun.)
Other'n that..Greetings, I play cheap over-the-counter fps-games for kicks, have a distaste for trivial bs conversations, hate people, and have a passion for all forms of anime.... and most probably will never post again...
P.S.
