(because you know you want it) BEST ANIME STORY(TV)

Post by reservoireddog » Mon Nov 01, 2004 10:28 pm

Ah yes, the stories that left you frustrated for days after the series ended wide open for more. The tear jerking cartoon moments that touched your heart and scared it for life. The events surround your favorite characters who you call friends(because you have none) and left you depressed for weeks to come. Yes I talking about anime stories. Well good anime stories. I narrowed it down to a few if one inperticular isn't mention which you believe should be mention....do it and say why.

Well....here we go:
Trigun
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Cowboy Bebop
Serial Experiments Lain
Last Exile
Wolf Rain
DBZ(?)
Escaflowne
FLCL(freakin short though)
Excel Saga
Chobits
Now and Then, Here and There
Record of the Lodoss War
Berserk
Outlaw Star
Big O
Crest of the Stars
.Hack

So far Kaze no Yojimbo has a pretty good story. Though I've only seen the first three disks so there's still the possibilty of a bad ending.

Ayashi no Ceres has a great story. I love it because it's so sad

Hellsing? Your kidding. That was pure eye candy.

Ghost in the Shell was pretty cool.

Yami no Matsuei - Because the story and art are that good. Also there is SO much more to the story that was not covered in the anime.

Utena - What twisted little webs they weave! The ending just ... well stopped leaving you wanting for more ... so many questions left unanswered!!

Mirage of Blades - Very good story (a little hard to follow at first) but it is so big you just need many more eps to cover this.

Just to name a few!!
"Light in the absence of eyes illuminates nothing. Visible forms are not inherent in the world but are granted by the act of seeing. Events contain no meaning in themselves only the meaning that the mind imposes on them...yet the world endures,...whether or not the mind exists..."
