Yah I really enjoyed the first season of Digimon as well. Unfortunately, the Digimon Adventures (seasons 1 and 2) were only released on R2 DVD. And if you're like me, watching the show in original Japanese after falling in love with the dub just wouldn't be the same. (Not to mention that R2's are kind of expensive anyway.)

Only the Digimon Movie was ever release on R1 (but you probably already know that).

Your best bet would probably be to videotape/capture Digimon off of one of the channels that's showing reruns.

Well this is sad. :(

Liked the first season, heck I loved it.

After that, it when to hell, in my opinion.

I liked all the ones I saw, actually (the first two and some of the third). It's kind of a bummer seeing that it pretty much cuts off the AMV possibilities for those of us who can't be bothered with R2's...

Well, maybe they'll put it out eventually. I mean, heck, even I might've bought a few DVD's if they ever came out

Um I'm not sad anymore; this is bad news for the ones that want the dubs. :?

The English dubs isn't bad but the original is better in my opinion.
No one should dislike the sub either; unless you're attached to the dub’s voices.

How did you get to see the original?

I don't know... even if the original is better, it would still feel weird to me. Usually I like dubs if they're the first version that I see. Except when they're atrociously bad, of course.

Like normal people do? :? Truly I find no words to answer that.

I'm actually developing a theory about that.
Anyways the original is good but can only testify that for the first season.
After that I’ve no idea how it when since the second season didn't catch my fancy and didn't give the third a chance.

I actually liked the third and fourth season better than the first two. Guess that makes me weird. ^^;

The 3rd season roxxers your proverbial boxxers.

2nd one, yeah, didn't like it much.

I have almost all 4 seasons taped from FoxKids onto my own VHS collection. Maybe I should make bootlegs ^_^
