Anime or Animes [linguistic discussion]
I'm just curious whether its proper to say:
"two Animes"
or
"two Anime"
"two Animes"
or
"two Anime"

The general consensus is thate "two anime" is the correct way to say it. So you should probably do it that way.
However, there is no solid reason that "two animes" would be wrong, because "anime" as it exists now in the English language, is no longer a Japanese word, but simply a word of Japanese origin. Plus, most of the Japanese natives I've talked to have called it "animes".

Anime.
It's mostly used as a singular and plural form.

Well, and it'd probably be only logical seeing how in Japanese there's no true plural form of nouns per se (number is indicated with a number devices outside the noun; and even more often the context. Which can be confusing, but shoganai...).

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

(but seriously, there's so many people calling it 'animes' it's not even funny. Which isn't all that surprising, given most english speakers naturally incline to treat it as an english word.)
