Strawberry Eggs - what happens next? (spoilers)

First, watch Perception. It's not required for this thread, hell, it's hardly even relevant, but it promted me start this thread. It's also damn good.

First and foremost, if you haven't seen I My Me, Strawberry Eggs, you shouldn't be here. It's a damn good series, and even if you never intend on watching it, I wouldn't want to blow the story for you. Also, if you are only part-way through the series, then I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you STOP here. You have been warned.

Strawberry Eggs has some of the most believeable characters I've ever seen in an anime. Hell, it has some of the most believeable characters I've ever seen, period. Through the whole series, I never once stopped doubting the reality that was created, even when the motorcycle/robot/sprinkler showed up. The amount of emotional layers in the characters was nothing short of life-like. It was all simply engrossing.

As the series progresses, we get a good look at Habiki, Kuzuha, their identities, their personality, what they feel and, as time passes, what and how they feel for each other. By the end, there's a glorious love between them, but, unfortuneately...

It never really blossoms. Habiki leaves for an unknown amount of time to some unknown location to do some soul-searching, and we are left with that. So, the point of this thread- What do you think happens next? If these were real people that time applied normally to, how do they progress? Go back and re-watch the series if you have to, but give us some idea, based on what you've seen, of what you think could happen next, what should happen next.

No, I do NOT want to see a second season. I think that's the worst thing they could do to the series. This is all pure speculation.

Its one of those things that even if they did go further, then people would want to see more. They chose a pretty good place to stop. Its easy to imagine what happens next. Plus I think that the songs give further examples of whats to happen since they seem to be made from the point of view of Kuzuha.
