I have seen several sites advertising this or that series as a "fan-favorite". Why does this term exist? If someone is a fan of Oh My Goddess, for example, or Outlaw Star, isn't it just a logical assumption that it is one of their favorite series?
If someone doesn't like Outlaw Star, then they aren't a fan, are they?
Is it me, or is the term "Fan-Favorite" redundant?

Going by this logic, someone that likes Outlaw Star is a fan. But that doesn't mean it's their favorite series. Kind of like, 'If Outlaw Star is your favorite series, then you're a fan. But being a fan doesn't mean that it's your favorite series.'Chaos Angel wrote:If someone doesn't like Outlaw Star, then they aren't a fan, are they?
Technically it works. It's just another way to get someone who's shopping to buy what you're selling, based on the fact that other people like it.
Personally though, I think it's redundant.
Everyone is not the same as you.
Get over it.
And lighten up.

Yes it's re-dundant or however you spell it It's more or less also like what Major Tv stations do, like NBC saying they are the "Most watched" tv channel, or ABC saying they are the "most watched" tv channel or something like "Leadig blah blah blah."
Hell! You already know all of this. I'm just bored. My other pc is definetely too slow to handle making amv's if it's going to take this long to rip and encode avi's for source footage. The pc i'm using now is an old defunct pc with no other use then net surfing.
That other pc is making strange sounds. It might be time to shut it down and then reboot before it explodes.
