is anime made outside japan ?

just wondering, is their any anime made outside of japan, like in other asian countries such as asia or korea ?

Some anime is made in Korea in the literal sense, i.e. in the same way The Simpsons is made in Korea.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was at least one or two Korean anime, since there are Korean mangas or manwhas.

Korea puts out animation that wins Japanese awards... The way I figure it, if the Japanese think it's anime, then it's anime. ^^

90% of all "Japanese animation" is made in korea or china. The labor is cheaper.
