Actual meaning of dubbed

Does dub mean any anime that is translated? Or does it mean any anime that has been edited from it's original version, like say they direct it towards a younger audience or something, and stuff was changed even though it didn't really need to

Dubbed means taking the original voices foreign or not, translating it then sticking in your own voices.

actualy that would be prety shit. i mean, people that do dubbs are profesionals and they sometiems spend hours rehearsing scripts. its nota s simple as subbing (which can be prety complex too, well, mabey)

The real otaku do it the Sub way, no pun intended.
I mean, when you translate from language, you just lose so much meaning. Watching subs is just better!

Plus, being an otaku gives you the bragging rights of somewhat resembling a house.

true. Some voice actors suck ass in one anime and then do a decent job in another. Some voice directors just need to be lynched sometimes
