lookin to buy some anime

i was debating between slayers, berserk, or ranma. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Haven't seen either of those, so I am going to pimp an entirely different series.

It's a 6-ep OAV available on one disc. It's a fantasy-action-drama series with off-beat humor and many heavy metal references. For example, the primary city is named Meta-Rikana (re: Metallica).

since chaos chose to NOT STAY ON TOPIC LIKE THE LAMER HE IS!!(jk) i would like to say that, out of the anime you mentioned, the greatest would have to berserk. its incredible. although the ending is not as wonderful as you might expect. the manga is better, but sadly not in america yet

yeah I'd also say that berserk is the best, but assuming your buying the US releases, only 2 DVDs of berserk are out, whereas all of the slayers series are released, and a great deal of Ranma already is.

ive heard certain releases of slayers and ranma is suffering from disc problems. whats the latest scoop? are they fixed?

Ranma 1/2, 'nuff said. They already have out both movies, all 12 OVA episodes and seasons 1-6 (They should be dubbing the last season, season 7, as we speak..I don't know for sure though)
