what anime is this?

theres this anime movie i saw about five years ago on the sci fi channel during that anime week they had. And well i cant remember the name of it i emailed rightstuf several times and even talked to those guys on the phone ive gone to several different forums and no one can give me the answer.
Its about a group of high schoolers one of them has magical powers i think its a girl that does. and well everyone in there town starts to disappear. its only them in the world and they are living it up when they find a jet(harrier) and they fly up and the town is floating in space(kind of like in the movie Dark City). i remember part of the ending but i dont want to say just in case someone out there wants to see this movie after i find out what one it is. Well hopefully someone out there can shed some light thanks.

Hmm you should start with the Urusei Yatsura tv series from Animeigo first just like order the first tape. That way you'll at least know who most of the people are.

Here it goes:I't about an older anima movie vintage 1988 - 1991.
The story goes something like this, outer space, war between 2 female civilizations(yes no males) I forgot about what, but on huge spaceship named AKON KAGAJA(I hope I spelt it well it was long time ago) appears the first male in the universe...

Yes and there they found about that boy in a pond or a lake or something.
Don't know if they crashed or where shot down in a battle.
