March 19, 2004: Potential R1 Release Date for "Porco Rosso", "Nausicaa", and "Totoro"
Residents of the AnimeOnDVD forums have spotted an Auguest 31 release date for Nausicaa, Porco Rosso, and My Neighbor Totoro at FYE and Suncoast.

The release pattern follows Disney's earlier triple release of Castle in the Sky, Kiki's Delivery Service, and Spirited Away to DVD.

Details on the DVD features to come.

Disney has always been slow releasing Ghibli films. While an August release date is still a long way off I'm happy to finally see that they will be getting a R1 release this year. Escpecially Kaze no Tani no Naushika, I might have some AMV ideas for that one once it is released. Also glad I didn't get the Totoro dvd yet as a subbed version will be released as well.

I've contemptlated for a while just getting the imports.
