Anyone heard of the anime "Full Metal Panic" It's an nteresting anime involvng mechs in a modern setting.

The main charater of this anime makes fun of Heero from Gundam WIng.

FMP d4 1337 M3CH4 ANIME!

It´s awesome. Fun. Exiting. And truly nut overused-melodramatic or philosophic. Totally normal and rational people are getting involved with a mercrenary-war.

Cool looking mechs that aren´t totally hyper, and lots and lots of EVA-pranks..

what about EVA pranks. I keep wondering y is the main character, Sagara so much like Heero, except he has a bit more humanity in him.

First Episode: A clock that has the shape of a king´s-penguin (see: EVA ep. 25/26)

Later: The young military-fanboy called "Shinji" is a total ripoff from Kensuke Aida. But FMP-Shinji´s father constructs mechs (somehow like EVA-Shinjis-Father, eh?), well his mechs have spechial weaknesses. Like in EVA, the fanboy and the underaged-mechapilot stick together; but in FMP they tend to have long conservations abaut mechas.. in the probably worst places. (See for yourself, Ep2/3)

And then there is this total loonie. A 14-year old mecha pilot "with a spechial gift" whose mission is to destroy the city with a HUGE mech. The mech later collapese because ist was too big. (another EVA-prank. EVA mechs break the rules of physic in many ways)[/quote]

Oh, and of course: There is this certain girl, same age as Sagara. Good figure and white hair. But unlike her EVA-Counterpart, she isn´t the slave of the organisation, she´s the commander...
..ok, she lacks the athletic and piloting skills that Rei has, but who cares? She´s so cute when she´s clumsy...

Ahhh...the goddess Tessa. I saw Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu? first then FMP but I think they are both great.

I cant wait for FMP 2. And more of Chidori is a good thing too.

I have a friend who saw FMP and is a mecha fanatic and said he didnt like it and I was like WTH? Obviously he didnt watch enough of it.

Some would say yes, some no. FMPF has no plot. FMP had plot. Some would consider Fumoffu more of a spinoff than a sequel.

There will surely be a sequel. I mean, what kind of ending was that, anyway? some rather slow kind of "sad-happy-ending".

I think there will be at least a second season, where much more of mithril is going to be blown up.
