Anime and a little self-pity

This is my first post, but i've been floating around the forum for months. dunno why it took me this long to say anything...

I love anime. IMO, its better than most normal TV, which i'll get to in a sec. I hate where I live. The only anime worth mentioning that we get here is Inuyasha and it doesn't play until 11:00pm on fridays. The others not worth mentioning i'll list anyway cuz i'm bored: DB, DBZ, DBGT, yugi-oh, pokemon. wow what a great selection. /sarcasm. :evil: :twisted:

I have downloaded a couple episodes here and there of other animes like trigun and I rented the cowboy bebop movie and millenium actress. We don't even get innocent animes, but you can watch porn for free at 10pm any day of the week on three channels :shock: Oh ya, that's why I don't post much, I have nothing to talk about!

So, in conclusion, please excuse the self-pity, i'm having a bad day. Also, is it worth it to rent movies of animes i've never seen before, like Full Metal Panic which I noticed in blockbuster the other day?
-Are children who act in rated 'R' movies allowed to see them?
-Do they have girl’s bathrooms in gay bars?

Of course it's worthwhile to rent something.

Sorry you had a bad day, and yes, it is completely worth it to rent new anime b/c you're not actually commited to watching an entire series b/c you're not paying as much per rental as per buy, so renting is basically the trial-basis for considering an anime to actually pay a full $30 for at Best Buy or wherever....

You should definately rent some anime, at least just to check them out. And Full Metal Panic is soemthing you could look at, i love the manga and heard the anime was good. I have rented many things that i have becomed hooked on. [/quote]

Welcome! I am new too! And yes it is always a good idea to rent before you buy! There is lots of great animes out there!
