It's been known for it's crappiness... :p

It's okay, just don't get the dubbed version....

The english Ritsuko and Gendo are in the dub btw, which is distracting...

....look at Dark Angel on Fox and look at Gally....yes the resemblence is striking... James Cameron was rumored to be working on a live action version but scraped the idea..... I think it would've been cooler then the shit known as Dark Angel...

Well, actually, Battle Angel was orignally going to be an OVA, but they made it a movie instead. I don't know the full story, I just know that.

I loved battle angel, one of the animes that realy got me into anime when it first came out. Havnt seen it in a while, but go check it out, its deffinatly worth a look.

Battle Angel is a two-part OVA series

No movie... just the OVAs.

in fact... if you're going to ask a question like that...don't watch anime.

if you're curious about the damn series then just watch it... its not like it'll kill you if it really is terrible...but actually i think the anime is alright.

First... as I understand, the Battle Angel anime was fan made...

After I saw it, I checked out the Manga... the Manga is very cool...

Howerver, I think the anime is OK...

It would be nice if they did the whole series in anime form.
