stupid question but i need answers

Post by Gatsthedarksword » Mon Aug 19, 2002 10:01 pm

ok before i ask this question let me run into my nuclear bunker.

ok now i'm fairly sure the power puff girls are not anime, i mean i've heard both and since i'm too lazy to get it exactly right i'll ask you guys but i've heard people who are convinced and make good points on both sides. plus they play it like anime on toonami and all the comercials and stuff is done like it's anime but that also makes me think it's not anime because anime doesn't play it anime it calmly has a few dead give aways but the ppg are almost trying to convince you they are anime anyway do any of you know for sure.

it is not written or designed by the Japanese and it wasn't made primarily for a Japanese audience although it has aired on TV Tokyo so no I don't think it should be called anime I mean they've got the big eyes and stuff but those were inspired by some painter named Keene and that's where the name of the teacher came from as well I hope this helped ok bye

I happened to be watching the Space Ghost special where Power Puff Girls first aired, and the creater (((most definitely an American guy))) was in a swimsuit contest with the creator of Johnny Bravo. So, to lay it all to rest, PPG is definitely an American show..
