i'd have a little dog that had fur that reflects every kind of attack, be it physical or magical.

of course this is gonna be one hell of an agile dog...

I always liked Link`s Mirrior Shield, even though that`s more of a video game.

So I`ll just throw in... the AT Field. It seems like quite a bargain for the ultimate defense. To act calmly, it does the job.
