Um when I watched battle of planets it would have been cool to have it but most people didnt own vcrs cause they averaged about 1000 bucks. Of course i already own all of star blazers on tape and am finishing it up on dvd.

I liked Minmay but found her singing annoying. I didnt think she was cool til toward the end when she realized she was in love with Rick but by then Rick had realized he was in love with Lisa.
Ah.. Battle of the Planets. I remember reading in an old Starlog magazine(that goes back a bit) where in A New England state Battle of the Planets was censored and then pulled from a local TV station because at the end the bad guy swore upon the name of his god or something that he would get the good guys. The Local TV censored that and later pulled the show because they considred it blasphemous.
I remember rushing home from school to catch Battle of the Planets and Voltron with the lions(the only good version
). Robotech was on at like 6am so it was the VCR's job to catch that one.
