I think it's dumb. There's a guy here who has completely obsessed with it and says it about every other phrase, so I associate it with homosexuality... of course, it's also because Rorouni kenshin is gay, too. But not Samurai X. At least then he had balls.

ok dont dis kenshin that personaly has to be the best anime out there
maby ill start a vote going with some of the animes i see most often and see what wins
but i actualy agree with you about young kenshin he seemd more mature or sumtin and even though rare he did say "oro" quite a few times
fave "oro"s would have to be all the ones from episode1

ADV is a bunch of dumbasses and didn't wanna sell the same title that Mediablasters was also selling and thus changed the title.
So your precious Samurai X (who happens to be named Himura Kenshin) is the same character in Rurouni Kenshin...dumbass.
