I don't know if this is the right section to talk about, but it sort of relates to anime. So here it goes:

I say get all of the Pioneer brand label DVDs since they're going to be valueble, I think.

WTF? *thumbs down*

As long as anime keeps coming I guess it'll be ok.

Hmm, maybe in time we'll learn to accept this. Just like accepting the name change from First Union bank to Wachovia (honestly, what the CRAP is Wachovia).

hmmph, i knew they were being sold eventualy.

Hopefully these guys care about making good sales and do something about pioneers fucking rediculous pricing system. I hope they bring back some discontinued box sets while they're at it.

What's wrong with their prices? All the Pioneer discs I have ever bought were quite reasonably priced except for the tenchi muyo collection which was way too much back when I bought it.
I got all of lain for 80 bucks, battle athletes tv for 100 bucks, battle athletes ova for 40, currently buying chobits for 20 bucks a disc...

Where I live, I usually have to pay $29.99 for a DVD from Pioneer.

Well, yea, if you pay the MSRP... but every other anime dvd I know of also costs 30 bucks in retail stores, not just pioneers :?
