Evangelion Directors Cut

So has anyone seen the directors cut of Eva? Is it worth getting if you have the whole series already? I heard the people in the commentary talk about it in the "Death" part of the Eva movie, so i dont know much about it...

I bet there's LOTS and LOTS of nudity from the characters. Probably from Misato!

I've already seen the directors cut in Japanese. I wish they had released it when I had first bought the series

. Tons more stuff is explained that they dont do in the non directors cut. One of the biggest things I hated that they cut out was when Misato was spying on Kawouru from like 5 miles away while he was talking to Seele, and all of sudden he turns around and smiles at her and she freaks out

. The only bad thing about the american release of the directors cut was that I heard they weren't releasing the last eps in directors cut (might have changed since I last checked though). If they do add the last two eps I might buy it, but Im not sure.

Yeah, the director's cuts add alot of info. Mainly the SELEE thing and the death of Rei were the big cut out parts. The episode where Asuka is just lying naked in the tub originally had no shadows and is corrected in the director's cut.

I have all the directors cut scenes in divx format. Unfortunately they're in Japanese without subs, and the quality isn't that great either.

Try looking for "Evangelion directors cut" in Kazaa.

somone posted links to a site you can download the cuts from... i grabbed as many as i could in one shot ... i think it was like 8 or 9 that i have on my PC. But yea they're in japanese and my fan boi japanese dosn't extend beyond the typical 5 or 6 words + a few phrases ... so i'm SOL in that case.

Many of the scenes including Asuka from the director's cut can be seen in my Eva video... I'm lazy but theres a link to my profile in my sig... then you can just find the one thats got eva footage...
