There aren't any real heros in anime any more, its too cliche. Then again this is coming from someone who thinks there is no set definition of a hero. *shrugs*

dont u think nurses and doctors and fire fighters are heros they save ppls lives u know

But they are also paid to do so, true they do save lives, but that doesn't define a true hero in my book unless its for selfless reasons. I true hero is one that risks life and limb in order to save someone from harm and expects no compensation for said action. A fire fighter is probably the closest to this definition but they still get paid for saving peoples lives.

My definition of "hero" might be something different from yours but it doesn't make my definition wrong.

yes nurses and doctors do get paid for it but most dont to it for the money. my brother in law is a dispacher and he hears storys from the nurses that i will not mention here becouse they are disturbing, i dont think i could be a nurse no matter how much money it would pay. and firefighters and such put there lives on the line that is also a love for the job not just for money becouse they dont get paid much infact most are volonter same with paremetics, would u go into a burning buliding or onto an acident scene with a 3yo girl whos leg have been crushed by an overturnd car and is screaming in agony for free? i couldnt take that i cant take the storys i hear from the ppl that i know that work in those feilds. its not fun.
