weren't those paintball/bb guns? Plus I seen a elmur fudd take more shotgun blasts too the face than anyone. and the nudity? come on I seen more ass on the simpsons. maybe we should rate those shows over pg too :P

In my opinion, FLCL is one of the coolest 8) shows, along with trigun, inuyasha, and Big O

To a certain extent, I agree with that parent.

FLCL is FULL of extreme sexual innuendo's, far more than the Simpsons have. You also don't see as many bare naked asses on the simpsons than you do on FLCL.

FLCL should be rated PG-13 AT LEAST. It definatly has no place on CN.

Shuldn't she take the responsibility to monitor what her kids are watching if she's so concerned about it? Especially considering the God-damned warning bumper at the beginning of the block, which she said she is aware of. She says in no uncertain terms that she relies on the parental control chip in her television to block out PG-13 and above stuff, but if she KNOWS about the warning, then she should take it upon herself to monitor what they are watching rather than letting the TV decide. The TV's a damn machine, it can't think for itself (yet...).

It's called shifting the blame. She just doesn't want to be responsible for it. She wants someone else to monitor what her kids are watching for her. It is not, and fucking should not, be the broadcasting company's job to monitor what their kids are watching; iot's her damn responsibility.

but truthfully, north americans in general usualy look for any thing other then themselves to place blame on. Though weve all ben told to take responsibilty for our own affaris we always look for a way to make it somone elses fault so we can't be blamed if something goes wrong. useless people ...

I wish I could respond to that article upfront. She is right in many points but so very blaintantly wrong in others. In that article she sees was bad and yet misses the good points...and to obscure things further she farses up more bad points that are just delusional, like the loolipop comment.

Should FLCL be on CN. Frankly I was opposed to the idea...and then when I found out it was nearly unedited other than 2 small edits, I was greatly opposed. On a channel like that, the show was sure gonna raise some heads and get some beef from the parents. Half the the AS viewers who watched the show for the first time around will probably not understand the points trying to be made out in the show. Instead they'll just see wacky slapstick violence and sexual references left and right without seeing some kind of big picture behind it all.

CN wasn't at all ready to show FLCL...
