basically - she has devoted her whole life in training to be a good wife - to a guy that she met briefly as a child.
as time went by, her training continued but the family desided against HIS role in the Family.
She does not care what happened between the families, she only want's to please him.
- it doesn't get anymore complicated than that ^_^ . . good story, hope there's a Movie and a second season 8)

well I watched the 2 dvd's laste night my observations:
HOw many charcters look like they where copys of
Love Hina charcters?
American Student (tina) : Like a grown up verison of Sarah
The Female Lead: Like a grown up uber-submission shinbo
Male Lead: Only one who's diffrent
The manager: Toughest fighter afaid of animals or getting close
oh look Maktoko.
The Female Photographer/ maid: if keitaro and Musmie had a kid
that would be her.
Second observation:
The dub says "do your best how many times!"
