Just to let you know, Shaman King is going to be in the Fox Box this fall.
So let's talk about how this anime series is going to be BASHED.

This is what I said in the other forum I go to when they brought this up.

yup and the worse thing is is that they wont even release the dvds uncut. itll be like Yu Gi Oh all over again. they wont release it uncut because its a kiddie company. even though Sailor Moon was dubbed by a kiddie company it eventually saw an uncut release. but i see no light of day for an uncut release of either Shaman King or Yu Gi Oh. so just go out buy japanese dvds of them.

FUNimation...4 Kids Entertainment, and companies like them take away the deep meanings of ANIME. People have got to understand that Anime aren't cartoons that distract kids. Anime is for the mature, and a portion of it is also for kids.

Rurouni Kenshin on cartoon network's Saturday Lineup is very, very, sad. At least they should've put it on Adult Swim or something. Down with censorship!!!

That's the least they could do. But has anyone seen the work FUNimation's done with DBGT yet? I know some DVDs are out, but I haven't seen 'em. Heheh, can't wait to see the toonami versions of DBGT. Let's see how much crap they've cut out.

) Anyways, who is dubbing Shaman King? It better not be 4KE or FUNi or I'll be pissed.

One more piece of rant (although i know I'm going off topic of Shaman King), FUNimation and 4KE do horrible jobs at an attempt to revamp the opening and ending credits to the anime they dub. FOR AN OTAKU'S SAKE, JUST LEAVE THE ORIGINAL JAPANESE MUSIC AND JUST FIDDLE WITH THE CREDITS.

8) Heheh, that is all I have to say. And btw, I love the opening (or was it ending) song to Shaman King. It was sung by Megumi Hayashibara...

ive seen some of GT i have the first six dvds. i cant wait to see it butchered on CN. i wouldnt really go bashing Funi that much. i mean i liked what theyve done with Blue Gender so far, Lupin the 3rd and Yu Yu Hakusho and they are mature. the problem with the Dragon Ball series is that they aimed it for kids. this is how the music was changed and thats why they dont cuss except for movies 1-3 and movie 7. i mean damn they made those series for a mature aduience cant you at least give them that much credit. at least they give us the original japanese version along with it. not even 4kids does that. 4kids we can bash the hell out of cause i really dont like them. they do not release unedit and nor original japanese version. so if you dont like dubs watch the subs.

I still have my doubts against FUNimation, but YYH is a little better than DBZ like you said. I didn't know that they dubbed blue gender, and I'm with you against 4KE, still. But hey, we got our opinions, and I still don't like FUNi. Blue Gender and Lupin the 3rd could have been dubbed by better companies though...but, I guess they're ok, nonetheless...
