A strange urge ... [to watch Dragonball]

For some reason i have an urge to watch Dragon balls and dragon ball z ... maybe it's taht i've seen fragments of both series when i was younger and would like to know the "full story" ... meh ... what ever ... olny thing that sucks is that theres something like 50 DVD's for dragon ball z ... which probably means over 300 episodes ... even for net munching ... thats a lot ... maybe i don't wan to any more ... yea i think that jsut killed my desire ...

that was a pretty good start ... it could have also gone something like this

"WTF! you fuckign moron, DBZ sucks, Long drawn out story that isn't even that good ... takes 5 episodes for them to finish bitching and moaning and start fighting"

or it could have been like this ...

"OMG DBZ = TeH UBaR!!!1!!1SEVEN2! WEATCH IT IT'S TEH BEST ANIME EVAR! THE FREIZA SAGA IS THE SHIZZNIT!!!! LOVE IT NOW!"

bahahaha, that was a good read

hmmm, well i would go with a milder version of the first response, however i have pretty much seen all of dbz and compared to other series its pretty much junk

however i hear the manga is a LOT better, you may want to save money and get a better story.

yea, id expect that ... any thing that they play after school is pretty much junk .. except for the black and white denis the menace tv series ...

who said anything about spending money?

... i've seen a large ... or i think a large chunk of DBZ, and i remember small peices of dragon balls ... the only reason i could possible concive to watch that series and still claim to be sane is nostalgia.

Dragonball and Dragonball Z were a couple of my first animes so I'm attached to them. I see what everyone is saying about the overexaggerated muscles and the stupid-ass way they draw out the Z story, but I luv 'em. The subbed version I know is way better but still can't compare to Bebop and Trigun and such. Still, it's my show and anyone who has something to say about it will have to answer to my Dark Popo avatar! Grrr...

no, indeed they don't compare to trigun or Bebop ... but still i kinda want to watch them ... but my too watch list is way to long and my wallet is still on life support ...

But i've ehard that the subtitled version is much better tehn the dubbed version, which is much better then the dub that was played when i got home from school ... fuckling Ytv ...

its weird you said this b/c i just had an erge to watch a few eps a week ago or so.........i whipped out tapes that i just simply recorded from tv (this was b4 i even had a damn computer) and watched it. and holy shit, now i remember why i stopped watching it. after that little shock to the system, i watched the whole Gundam Wing series to kick back into place ^_^ with a little Cowboy Bebop The Movie to boot hehehe

LMAO ... well i'd watch it ... but like i said ... my too watch list is too long. and ... yea ... it sucks ... any ways, i should be getting my eva dvd's back ... and when that happens, if i get a laptop for school with a dvd drive i should be able to start giving AMV's a shot ... so taht should purge teh DBZ urge form my system ... i hope...
