Er, Ikki Tousen...

Just saw ep 1. I thought this anime MIGHT have been directed by Katsuhiko Nishijima [director of Project A-ko and that pantyfest known as Agent Aika]

I could be wrong though. The fight scenes seemed so much better... 0_0 The panties and skirts blowing in the wind for the INTRO alone is enough for most people...

This thing is goin' to my top 10 list ASAP. It's martial arts anime with a "legendary" basis. [to an extent] And, it's what some would call, a "Panty Fighting Anime..."

I'm just guessing, I don't think it's by him though...

The opening music is by Move! [lots of fast moving music from them and Engrish too!]

If it's not by him [most likely] they're just following the manga's "look". [fanservice fighting... ^_^]

Divergence Eve,
Da Capa,
Ultra Maniac
and Ikkitousen are the main reasons.
