hot diggity dayum, i just finished watchin the whole 25 eps of berserk, i gotta say that sh!t is crazy hot! its a different type of anime and defitnetly werth watchin. any1 know when they gonna come out with the rest of the eps to continue the magna?

supposedly they are in pre-production of the second tv series, but that doesn't reall mean much...not much has been happening lately.

It might, it might not come out...but it honestly doesn't seem very likely. But yes, it's a fucking great anime! One of my favorites.

There is no official word about a second season...yet.

As for the manga, they're on volume 25 (I believe) and the TV series goes up through *maybe* volume 11. So yeah, a lot more happens....the first episode alone implies that (since the other 24 episodes are a flashback).

I have read up to volume 24, the manga is very much different from the anime. A good example of this is the fact that Pakk wasn't introduced in the series. If they do make a second season, they need Pakk. He is the sole reason that Guts has stayed sane as well as alive. Besides he is the only comic relief in the series. BTW the series goes up to volume 16 or so. But like I said above the manga and series is different. I hope they make a second season but it will be kinda hard. I want to see the second battle between Guts and Zodd animated.

AFAIK, there is no Berserk 2nd season.

None the less the manga is still going, which is enough for me. Its much more enjoyable anyways, no restrictions.

It's supposed to come out in October 16 I believe. Not sure about the date, but I'm positive about the month.
