So far i've only watched the intro of the anime. can anyone tell me what the general outline of what it's about? Is the two people in the intro in a love relationship or something?

It's a very slow, dark, drawn-out series revolving a group of witch-hunters who start off hunting witches who abuse their power and eventually uncover a sinister secret about what happends to those witches the capture. Robin herself is a very powerful, mysterious witch who's story is slowly revealed. There is very little action and the character of Amon - that main guy in the credits - is the absolute worse in any show I have ever seen. The guy is about as thick as a strand of hair - virtually no personality whatsoever, and he never smiles, in fact he hardly has any expressions at all. Actually most of the characters don't With the exception of Robin and another girl.

Everyone's voice matches the tone of the show, dull, monotone, and hypnotically shallow. I'm VERY CURIOUS as to who and how the dub will be handled.

Overall, the series is ok, but if you did not like Noir, you might not like this - very similar in structure. It just has a more gothic look.

I thought it was decent. And there's a hell of a lot of good to be said about the opening theme song. The series is quite slow though, it could have been done in half the episodes they took. Robin was a very cool character though.

The Regular edition is coming out on Oct. 21, 2003
The regular edition of the first disk has an SRP of $29.98, but you'll be able to find this for $23 and unfer I'm certain.

The Limited Edition is coming out earlier: Oct. 7, 2003.
The Limited Edition box has an SRP of $59.98 but I've seen it listed around $40 before. The box set comes with the DVD, the Witch Hunter Robin OST CD, a Witch Hunter Robin T-Shirt, an animation cel, and a witch hunter robin shotglass!

ive yet to see it...BUT i do have a cool t-shirt from AX that has it on there! --; Its probably the shirt that will come in those "box sets" that really are just the first DVD and a shirt...whenever they make one.
