theres been a great deal of CB2 talk in the eva 2 series thread so i decided to make a new top for you guys to talk in.

Q: will there be a cowboy bebop sequel,prequel???

no he's dead ... and if he didn;t die from being slashed by Viscious his men that came in would have finished him ... or at elast left him for dead ... which would have happened ... so yea, spikes dead.

I dont understand, did u watch the whole series? :O

Episode 5 - ballad of fallen angels, spike was shot slashed in teh face stabbed in the shoulder and thrown from a large stainglass window of a church.

Episode 6 - Spike is back on his fett and fine.

There are many instances of this aswell as one in the movie where he is shot thru the chest is tossed from a train into an ocean yet still survives.

This has a lot to do with my interpratation of the dream theroy which i wont go on about because i know little to know people agree with me on it.

Then again we all have our opionions.

As to the sequel or prequel to bebop, Not one that ive heard of and hopefully not one in the future, that would ruin what in my eyes was an open ending...

Shun, your point about how Spike always seems to get back on his feet has a good point. Although I'm pretty sure Spike is dead, it's kinda silly that something like that can finally kill him.

yes i saw the series ... but he's always ended up in a place where somone was able to nurse him back to health. In teh movie when he fell out of the train, he washed up on shore and that indian guy helped him, in episode 5, he was brought back to the bebop by Faye and so on. he's jsut been lucky ... but in this situation i belive it's safe to say spike is royaly fucked at the end. Plus i'm not sure, but i think it may have somethign to do with spike finaly wanting to die and just get everything eover with ... since julia is dead and he finaly killed Viscious ... i think thats jstu somethign i gathered from teh movie ...some how his will kept him going when he should ahve been dead ... or is this jsut a sleep deprived mind at work? probably the slep depravationa t work.

Hay look at Bush Cassidy and the Sundance kid it ended like Bebop were you see the main character fall over and or you can assume they are died. (Keyword being assumed) So until they can actually prove to me that Spike is dead by providing me with another sires and or movie I can only assume.

Thats a very intersting point about someone always being there to nurse him, even tho, with all those wounds i just find it odd that he is up and about able to perform jeet kuno do perfectly and still catch bounties with half of his bodies in holes. Who knows, its just my opionion, and logically yours may make more sense, but i still try to gather more and more thing from his past such as when him and julia were going to run away together after he acted like he was killed(or did he)?

Which also lead to my favorite scene in the anime, at the end when he walked thru the doors no one began firing on him, they look in bewilderment as one of the top members of the syndicate who was suppopused to be dead walked thru the doors.

I dont know maybe its just me, but im going to go watch meet the parents
