Im sure this title is going to bring a certain person here and hopefully that person or someone else can answer this for me
I have seen and own rurouni kenshin up to the end of the kyoto ark.
My question is in the "tales of the meji" does sojiro make another appearance? or does his story end after begging his 10 years of wandering?
PS - I have seen sojiro also spelled soujiro which i think is the japanese spelling, but i looked at the subs on my dvds and it was spelled sojiro so i meen no disrespect

I wonder if you were referring to me

.
As for the answer to your question, no Soujirou (that's how I spell it since my friends subtitled it in the past and that is the EXACT romanization) does not appear in the remainder of the series. It's kind of cool and open-ended since we know he goes on his own 10 year journey to find his own answers.
Idealy, one would think he would come up with the same answers as Kenshin, but who knows. Kenshin himself says that he is not "right" because he is stronger. He said that Soujirou must find his own answers. I like this ending for Soujirou quite a bit. It completely reinforces the duality that Kenshin and Soujirou share. Basically Soujirou could've been just like Kenshin had he found someone like Hiko Seijirou that would care for him (Kenshin even states this). This is the main reason Soujirou is my favorite character in all of anime. At worst, he reinforces Kenshin's own character and past.
One suggestion I have however is to not watch anything past Episode 62 (DVD 16 I believe?). I'd say stop where you are and go on to the first OVA (Trust and Betrayal). I believe you asked earlier and I explained why, but if not, please go to
this thread where I explain why one should stop watching at Episode 62. It basically has to do with following the Manga (The original story and source...straight from the creator) and everything past 62 not being created by the creator and only filler created by Sony. It adds nothing to the story and if anything makes the show as a whole a lot less enjoyable.
I do hope you haven't seen the OVA yet since I find that it's more enjoyable (and makes more sense) to watch it after Episode 62. That's where it happens in the Manga...immediately after 62 in fact (after he visits a certain grave).
Sorry for the long answer, but I hope that helps.
